S6 E6 What is Hospice?

We talk a lot about how we grief, what we grieve, who we grieve and how to help a friend or loved one who is grieving. Today I am sharing my conversation with Ginger Strand. She is a  hospice Volunteer Coordinator and certified Death Doula from the Going With Grace school. She volunteered for five months at the hospice where she now works. She encourages anyone considering working in the death care field to try hospice volunteering before making that leap.  You might be wondering what is a death Doula or what does a hospice volunteer coordinator do?
